CHRISTmas and the gifts

It is now a day after Christmas. The time spent shopping for gifts is over. Parties here and there are still going on, I still have more parties to attend before going back to the real world. It was indeed a beautiful experience despite the fact that my family is several thousands of miles away. I haven't spoke to any of them. I understand because they are busy with their own lives too.

We attended the midnight mass, it was a beautiful and solemn ceremony. The church is decorated with lots of poinsettias, made me feel nostalgic remembering our local church at home. I can't help thinking how did it look like(decorations) considering the money my brother and I combined to buy the flowers. If I am not mistaken, folks back home relied on our family for the church decorations for almost a decade now. I joked my sister Lita to tell our parish priest that we didn't signed any agreement about Christmas decorations. She did told the priest LOL!

Yesterday, Christmas day, we went to our friend's house Bob and Joanne, I helped her prepare the food for our dinner party. Everything went out good. Everyone enjoyed the whole time. Joanne's daughter had a blast, I felt proud because when we arrived their house we took 3 sets of gifts 1 for the couple and the 2 is for their daughter Kristine. She opened the gifts and she loved it. Of all the people who gave her gifts, my husband and I are the only people she remembered giving this and that. Very priceless.

Any way, I got couple of gifts from my husband. He gave me the following:
1. set of juicy couture perfume and lotion
2. set of Jadore perfume, lotion, and body wash from Dior
3. Tresor perfume from Lancome
4. make-up kit, lipstick, and mascara from lancome
5. 3 sets of perfume from Estee Lauder
6. 1 big container of Estee Lauder (beautiful) lotion
7. diamond stud earrings

I also received gifts from friends:

mixer set ( I have been meaning to buy one)
crockpot(my old one is broke)
guess shirt (my fave shirt brand)
pearl earrings

To all my friends Thank you so much for all the gifts.

For my Husband, Thank You very much, you never failed to make me feel special. I love you so much with or without those gifts but having those is much better hahahahah.
