winter storm hits back

Not long ago our area had winter storm which left us over 24 inches of snow to plow. Until now we still have couple inches left on the ground, the only visible part of the ground is the drive way. As of this writing a major storm is coming our way as a matter of fact snow showers started falling as early as 8pm EST. This means that all nigh long and all day tomorrow will be snowing. I can't imagine how the roads would look like the after. I am scared of the thought that I'll be traversing the hi-ways on a deep snow.
When I first came here, I was so excited on my first snow experience but as the years passed by I don't appreciate it anymore, because I am driving at least 45 minutes to school if traffic is clear but when the roads are icy and very slippery a 65mi/hr speed limit will surely reduce to as low as 10mi/hr or maybe less depending on the traffic volume. I kept on praying that the school will be closed and the announcement will be soon enough so that I won't be bothered by waking up earlier than usual. At the back of my head I don't like class suspension because we have to repay for it at a later time that extends our supposedly end of semester break.
In the hospital where I have my clinical rotation, nurses and other workers were not allowed to go home because nobody can come in for the next shift and besides the roads are dangerous to drive. In this kind of weather I wished I had bought a 4 wheeled drive so I could have a better grip on an icy road.
(here's our drive way, notice the left over snow from last saturday's storm and also take note of the snow shower coming down)
