I am So Ready to Work

It has been few months since I got back from our long Philippine vacation.  I thought that by now, I am already a working professional.  I am so ready to work as I think that it is time to earn a living.  I know that my husband doesn't mind of me not having a work right now but I have some financial obligations to fulfill and I personally thin that it is time for me to work.  I am not desperate though because I know that I will get a job soon.  I am in medical field so jobs are easier to find compared to other fields.

Every time I see a store selling scrubs, I often see myself wearing one as my daily nursing uniforms.  I actually own a few sets already because when I did my clinical, we were required to wear a comfy scrubs.

I actually found a website Blue Sky Scrubs that sells designer nursing uniforms.  They have everything that a medical professional will need.  They sell scrub hats, jackets, medical coats, green scrubs and accessories.  This website is perfect destination for medical professionals who wants fashionable scrubs and accessories.

I want to be a doctor

LOL, funny! I haven't landed a nurse's  job yet, and here I am planning to be a doctor! Am I insane? I know I can't afford medical school right now. I am a bit old to start medical profession, well nursing is a medical profession in itself so I will just stick with it. Okayyyyy erase the doctor thing, as in right away!

This must be a sign of frustration from the lack of nursing jobs around my area, must be the reason why I think a lot of things lately. I am not hopeless, I knew in time I'll be able to get one.  It's the time of the year where holiday and vacations going on, and most company stops hiring, well except the retail store. My husband told me not to worry about jobs, anyway nobody can throw us out of our house no matter what. I just keep my faith in God. The rests will be alright. But I still have to work my butt distributing my resume all over the place who knows one of these days, they will all want me to join their team.

DIY gifts this year

Guest post written by Cynthia Bowers

I decided a few weeks ago to just make all of my holiday gifts that I'm going to give out this year. I've done some homemade gifts in the past and this year I'm trying to be a little more frugal with my money so that I can pay off some of my credit card bills, so I'm going DIY for the holidays.

I've been looking for different ideas of DIY gifts that I can make online for a few weeks now. When I was doing that about a week ago, I found a Clear Bundle online offer that I couldn't let escape me, so I went ahead and signed up for it right then and there.

I think that I have an idea for a homemade gift for everyone by now. I went and bought a whole bunch of mason jars at a warehouse and am going to give away a couple of differnt food and drink mixes. For some of them I'm making dry hot chocolate mix, chocolate chip cookie mix and Russian tea mix. It's something you can use for a while and share with others!

DEATH: A new beginning after life

Last Friday, Kuya Steve's father who has been ill expired. My take about death is pretty much crucial to others. Like for example, when somebody told me about a person's death especially when that person has been ill for quite a long time, my response would always be... Good, meaning he/she better of die than staying alive suffer from the agony of pain. It is not only the sick person who is suffering but the family is more affected emotionally, financially, and physically draining.

Don't get me wrong I don't wish nobody of dying but when I knew that pain and suffering involved, I opted to just rest in peace where pain and suffering is not an option nor a choice to take once a person is gone in this world. I believe that death is a beginning after life, to the nonbelievers it ain't true but for me there is another journey after life, it is just a matter of faith. So, if you're one of those people who came to hear me saying he/she better of die, that means I'm happy for the family for relief, though I would be said because I knew as much as we want to keep our family members to be alive as long as we want, the reality is its not what it is suppose to be. In this world we all come and go.

Back to Kuya Steve's father, He died a day after thanksgiving, the entire family decided to just pull the plug after knowing that his lungs can no longer work its job which is ventilation or air exchanges no longer occur, its the ventilator did the job for him and so with the pacemaker did the heart's. It was difficult for the family to take but its the reality. They could have opted to put a permanent breathing tube in him but there's no chance of him getting better, then they'll have to take him for hospice care, meaning they have to wait till he finally shutdown which to me, their agony would just take longer seeing him fighting for his life. Anyway, it has been his request not to rescucitate him nor place him to the ventilator.
To the Hardman family accept our heartfelt condolence!

The Philadelphia Flyers -- My Favorite Hockey Team

Blaire Betts, Danny Briere and Daniel Carcillo are names any Philadelphia hockey fan should know. If these names are not familiar to you, you are not as much of a fan of the Philadelphia Flyers as I am. In fact, I can rattle off the names of the starting lineup in alphabetical order for the past few seasons. I love to catch the games in person when I can, but it is not an option. Real life duties and even just the traffic in Philadelphia get in the way of achieving this lofty goal.

Television from http://www.tvbydirect.com/directv-programming.html provides the best option for watching games when I can't make it on the road, but the coverage rules for local television for the sports network are more arcane than the federal tax code. Fortunately, I do not rely on cable television to make sure I can see the Flyers in all their glory. When I can't make to a game in person, I watch the game on satellite television. HNL season pass enables me to watch all the games.

Visiting Family on Thanksgiving

Written by my friend Ellen Gardner

Thanksgiving is a time for sharing old tradition and discovering new tradition. It is an memorable time to spend with the family. My kids and I wake up early every Thanksgiving morning. We watch the Thanksgiving Parade while cuddling on the couch with our blankets. I put together a small breakfast while everyone is getting ready for the day. After eating, we go to my parents' house across town. My husband always makes sure to set the house alarm from www.Totalalarmsystems.com because we are gone most of the day.

As we drive across town, we discuss what we are thankful for. Most times, it is that we get to spend the day with the grandparents. We eat our special meal with everyone. It is a joy to reconnect in person with no major interruptions. At this meal, we get to plan for our next holiday, Christmas! What an exciting time. After our meal and cleanup, we spend the day lying around watching football and Christmas movies with the kids.

Thanksgiving is a special time to reflect on family and enjoy those around you.

The Black Friday Saga

Me and my two girlfriends went out shopping yesterday. I found good deals from New York and Company. Actually the 3 of us bought several stuff from there since they offered 50% discount everything in store, so we took advantage buying business suits. I purposely bought business suits since I am looking for a job and who knows one of these days I might be invited for an interview so I'll be ready for that day to come. We went to Victoria Secret, as also they don't have any special offers but the usual 5 for $25 panties, which has always been their promo since forever.  Went to Macy's and bought couple of dresses for Kristine, it was a santa dress and some others.  Janice bought sweaters at Fitch, I think there wasn't really good deals in there, except when you spent $100 they'll give you $50 gift card... that if you have your offer code printed yet not everyone knows you'll have to do it not unless you'll like them on their FB fan page since they only announced their specials on FB.

At Best buys, Joanne bought a digital camera, I actually picked sony for her because it came with carrying case, extra battery and a tripod. I was also looking for laptop since I am planning to buy 2 of them for my priest friend who officiated our church wedding and for our very good uncle father to my nephews in the Philippines. But unfortunately I didn't get none since the once on sale wasn't really in sale at all, I noticed that they listed up the original price higher than what it was priced couple of weeks back. Okay, I'll be fair I could be able to save up around 40 bucks but the line was like eternity so I just let it go. Computer accessories were not marked down. I bought 2pcs 4gb SD card for 7.99 each.

So, basically we didn't go home empty handed, we've got we think was good deals and of course we'll be able to use. Stay tuned on my shopping blog because I'm going to posts the deals I bought.

New Era for SmartPhones

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of LG. All opinions are 100% mine.

It is important to be a step ahead of our clients or family members.  Gone where the days when you are forced to be tied to your desk so as not to miss important calls and emails.  With the evolution of Smartphones, we can all have a new-found freedom in enjoying life, mixing business and pleasure. Smartphones offer the features you need to manage the myriad details of your life whether that includes scheduling business meetings, tracking your family’s schedule, reading email, or surfing the web.

LG Electronics launched its first Windows Phone 7 device, the LG Optimus 7! The LG Optimus 7 introduces a new era for smartphones and offers consumers a whole new experience of mobile life.  These cellular device is much more than just an ordinary cell phone; this provide instant access to the web.

Thanksgiving Dinner

Off to Joanne and Bob's for our thanksgiving dinner, I just hope Bob is already finish cooking the food because he is quite known of his lateness in food preparations lol! Peace Bob! Janice is with us too, Will dropped her off here in the house earlier since he is going to work till 9pm tonight.

Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving everyone! To those who have to travel for the holiday drive home safe and have fun!

My Obsession

Close friends of mine knows my obsession. I am not the type that buys those stunning jewelries. In fact, the only jewelry that I wear is my wedding ring. I do have an expensive class ring. I bought it to signify what I have attained. On special occasion, I wear jewelry as my outfit requires but for everyday living, I am not the type of person that shows off those stunning jewels.

My obsession is a collection of purses. I collect expensive purses. I treasure them and make sure that I put them on their dust jackets whenever I am not using them. When I say expensive purses, it really doesn't mean those thousand dollar purses. Anyway, my latest purchase is a Marc by Marc Jacobs Leather Shoulder Bag which I bought at Zappos.com. I have been a loyal customer of this website because I am satisfied with the products they are selling and its price.

Ever wonder what's my next obsession? I want to buy myself a new Juicy Couture Luxe Day Dreamer Sequins Purse. Oh... I can't wait to get a hold of this pretty purse.

Purses serve as fashionable accessory and a functional way to carry items. Whether you want a hobo, clutch or a tote, they all serve the same purpose.

Thanksgiving...funny pic

I was browsing the web looking for funny pictures about thanksgiving. I found several good ones but I only choose one that my husband love the most. With the current financial status here in the USA, the best thing the government should do is to reduce if elimination of unnecessary spending is difficult to achieve. I know everybody out there will surely agree with me, not unless you have  inherited mom and pop's fortune and you can not spend them all in your lifetime.
Mr. Obama are you listening? by Rick Santelli of CNBC

Credits to the above picture can be found here.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! May we all have an abundant year ahead.  I will not eat Mr. Turkey tomorrow because our friend will not only cook turkey but ham too. I prefer ham. After the dinner will be heading off to the mall and start our black friday sale while some people are still in bed.

LG Optimus One

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of LG. All opinions are 100% mine.
I love the convenience that technology offers.  I am always on the go, thus, I always prefer to have the latest gadgets that can make my life easier while being away from home.  Every now and then, I splurge on buying the latest communication gadgets.  I never had an LG phone before but, its features intrigued me thus I am considering buying one.  The new  LG Optimus One launched by LG Electronics is a smart phone that is powered by Android 2.2 and optimized for Google Mobile Services.
The new LG Optimus has fun features and has user-friendly interface.  This phone also features a camera with face tracking and smile shot which comes very handy for I love taking pictures.  It also has  a 3.2" wide HVGA screen and a long-lasting 1500mAh capacity battery.  The thing that convinced me the most to consider buying this cell phone is its ability to provide quick internet surfing.  LG Optimus One allows for two to three times faster and smoother internet browsing.  This will mean that no more waiting for web-page loading and application pop-ups.  I can surely multi-task with this new gadget.

If you are looking to purchase your first smart phone check out LG Optimus One.  This phone will be available in over 90 countries, so wherever you are, you will have access to this very cool phone.

the going ons

Went to Yankee Stadium last Saturday to watch football game. As expected ND crushed Army. It didn't surprised me because ND had became a better team as the season goes by. I just wished Army could have played better than what they have done, but on a lighter side I'm glad I was able to have a glimpse at the new Yankee stadium. I can say the stadium has a state of the art design and structure.

The concession is very awesome and they improved the boring football food offered in most stadiums I've been. Food choices varies from cold beers to pop corns, they even have huge selections of barbecues in every sections. I noticed the turkey leg barbecue, it really looked yummy but sorry turkey fan I am not one of you. I bought mango drink, I forgot what they called it but to me it looks like pearl coolers since it has round gelatin and a big straw. It was yummy!

Now that I've already went to Yankee stadium the next thing in my mind is going to City Stadium in Queens, NY-- NY Mets' home stadium, many people have said that  it is a lot more sophisticated than the new Yankee stadium, one of these days I'll have to make a trip there.

A Break From Life

Content by Edward Massey

Life can be tiresome, a routine that never ends. This makes me sad. That's why when I have my lunch hour, I make sure to take some time out for myself to evaluate the way the day is going and how I can improve the things I'm doing. If there's anything I can do to save the day and make it better, I plan it out at lunch. Lunch is like my wake up call after a half day of work. I'm able to have a nice lunch and think about how the day has progressed, the mistakes I've made, and the ways that I can salvage the rest of the day and make it great for me and everyone I work with.

There are times when I go home for lunch and watch direct tv when I eat. This is one of my all-time favorite lunch activities because it allows me to really relax at home and get the most out of my hour. It's like a break in the middle of the day that makes the rest of the day go more smoothly. I feel refreshed after going back to work and I know that I've been extremely entertained and well-fed along the way. Private time away from work is always good, especially when it comes during that very important lunch hour that so many of us depend on.

Surprise!

Guest post from: Natalie Walter

This morning I received a phone call from my best friend. She decided to surprise me and come into town for an afternoon of shopping and dining. I haven't seen her in so long, I quickly jumped out of bed and hopped in the shower. Today was for sure going to be a great day.

It dawned on me while I was in the shower, that I have known my best friend for about 20 years now. We met back in high school and quickly become very close friends. We used to love to spend our afternoon at the mall just thinking about all the things we wish we could buy. Those amazing memories brought a smile to my face. I hopped out of the shower, and got dressed as fast as I could. I felt like a school girl again with this excitement I had.

I ran downstairs to make sure the cats where fed. I grabbed my coat and my wallet and headed out the door. I was so excited that I almost forget to set my home alarm system. I ran back in the house to set the alarm (information) before off the visit my best friend. Once I got in the car, I called her to let her know I was on my way. I can't wait to spend the day with her, what a great day it will be.

Army vs Notre Dame @ Yankee Stadium

We will be at Yankee Stadium tomorrow in time for Army vs Notre Dame. It would be the first football game at the new Yankee(baseball) stadium in New York City. I need to bundle up really good for I am sure its gonna be cold as the kickoff is at 7pm.

Whatever the outcome of that game, I will surely not regret for paying a hefty amount for the tickets. We will be joined by my cousins husband and her son, Mike. We will also spend a night at their house as the game will not be done until like 10ish at night, driving back home wouldn't be a good idea.

I just wish that Army will play good and hopefully they'll be able to beat them--wishful thinking!

The weather outside is frightful

Written by my friend Constance Hayden

But my heater inside is delightful!

I love this time of year, but I always know I have to perform the same chores to get my house in the correct shape for this weather. One of my favorite parts of the winter is my fire place. Although I generally rely on my central heating system to warm me up, I do enjoy sitting by the fire with my family or a book. It definitely makes me feel cozy to hear the crackling and feel the heat. So my first part of getting the home ready (and getting me in the mood for winter) is to get firewood. I generally store it in the garage, but I'll put a small pile by the fire place to remind myself of the winter to come. My least favorite part of winter is walking by my windows and feeling gusts of chill air even when the window is closed! I always make sure to check all crevices and make sure everything is sealed correctly. I'll then weatherstrip different places where it feels uncovered. While working on these, I end up thinking about storm windows and install those next. These are generally my winter chores, but what isn't a chore is insuring my DirecTV offers are ready for winter. TV and hot cocoa are my safety haven from the cold.

A catching title

Guest post written by Mel Richards

Even though I like to read books that I've read reviews of which happen to be very good, I also like to just go blindly into a bookstore and pick out a random book or two based just on their covers and my first impressions of them. Actually, I probably do that a lot more often than looking up stuff beforehand that I want to buy and read.

But, I was online the other day, actually trying to find a book to buy with my Barnes and Noble coupon that I had and was about to expire when I came across this site clearwireinternet.com/order_clearwire_internet.html and I liked the looks of it. So I decided to change and make it my internet company.

Well, I never found a book review that I liked enough, so I bought this Big Girl book by Danielle Steel. It's about a girl who's really self conscious even though she seems to have it all, but then she gets an eating disorder. I thought that it sounded like it might be a good inspirational book, so I thought I'd give it a try.

flowers (boys&girls)

Today, we are celebrating our wedding anniversary, no big fuzz though, except that we had diner out. I got flowers from the husband. Red flowers for the anniversary and white for my birthday (on Wednesday). Husband asked what I want for our anniversary, and I said nothing special, just want peace of mind no material things, and he also asked what I wanted for my birthday, I replied nothing either, I just want to be healthy and the rest doesn't really matter. He told me to go out shopping, I said even without occasion I shop so its no big deal shopping for my birthday. I'd rather stay at home and sleep to my hearts content. I said to him not to bother but it doesn't mean I didn't appreciate his thoughts but I'm kinda into stage where I felt accomplished and I don't want anything on special occasion. I already reached to a point where everything seems to be complete and I have nothing to ask for more, ohh well except a job, but I believe in my heart that it will come at a right time.

Anyhow, here's the picture of the flowers:

A Cool Aquarium In The Smokies

Contributed by Vickie Tyson

No visit to the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee would be complete for my family unless we went to the Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg. We are so fortunate to live within a two hour drive of Gatlinburg, and we try and make a trip there at least twice a year. Our family gets up extra early, packs a lunch, checks to see if our home security alarm from AllHomeSecurity.com/ is set and then we pile into the car. We time it so that we can be at the aquarium when the doors open. Later in the day, after we eat our lunch, we go hiking in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. We love going to the aquarium, so we always head there first.

There is such an awesome variety of exhibits at Ripley's Aquarium and they are always adding new things, so we never get bored. They have a hands on exhibit featuring sting rays that my children especially love. You can actually reach in the lagoon and touch a ray as it swims past. I have yet to try it though! My favorite spot is the penguin exhibit. They have a cool tunnel that you can crawl through and observe the penguins all around you. They are amazing creatures!

Another neat area is the moving walkway that glides though an underwater tunnel. While in the tunnel, you get to see an incredible array of sea life. View menacing sharks, huge stingrays and every kind of salt water fish you can imagine. A trip to the aquarium is such a great destination for families with children. It is so educational and a great way to spend time with your kids.

The Scent of Happiness

Thanks for the guest post by Rafael Barnes

There is nothing I love more than a good trip to my local library. The library is the only place where I can read as the good lord intended me too, in complete, uninterrupted silence. The building is over a hundred years old, and is in the center of downtown. It stands, a testament to simpler times, among the freshly built commercial area. Before I leave the house, I gather my things, and set my security in alarm from www.Securitychoice.com/. Then, while I drive towards my destination I listen to soothing music. It helps my mind wind down. The days are always so hectic, if don't calm myself I can't focus on my reading. When I arrive from the library, I head directly to the third floor: fiction. I brows the stacks, searching for anything that draws my attention. Once I've found my a piece of literature that is worthy of my time, I settle into a spot on the third floor lounge, in a comfy reclining chair. I sit, and read. The world could be crashing down around me, but I am at peace. I savor these rare moments. They normally do not last very long.

Living in California

I often hear that the standard of living in California is so high compared to many states here in the United States. Personally, I can't verify that as I have been living in New Jersey all these years. Although I hear from my friends that their cost of living is high, I can't really argue as even our cost of living here is very high for me, the real estate taxes alone is beyond being reasonable.

Anyway, I have a good friend who is moving to Long Beach, California because she has a wonderful job offer in the medical field. She is in the process of looking for an affordable apartment in Long Beach. She got different suggestions about the perfect place to stay. There are actually many long beach apts that offer convenience and luxury. These apartments are minutes away from all the entertainment venues, retail stores, restaurants, museums, beach, harbor and more. In short, apartments in long beach provide its residents with convenience and ease.

Are you in the hunt for apts in long beach? Visit the apartment community of gallery421. They have apartments for rent that will put you in the center of everything. Live in the metropolis of a thriving business sector where despite its busyness you still can work, live, play, and party.

My New Recliner

Guest post by Quincy Lester

I was sitting on the couch the other day and I just wasn't as comfortable as I wanted to be. I was a little tired but didn't want to lay down. I rested my feet on the coffee table but the hard surface made it very uncomfortable. I realized just then that the item I needed to have in my living room was a recliner. I could put my feet up on the cushioned foot rest and even lay back and close my eyes if I decided to take a nap. It would be the perfect place to relax after a long day of work or school.

I couldn't decide whether to purchase a leather recliner or a plush fabric. The fabric I wanted was very soft and I wasn't sure if I'd be able to stay awake. The leather was very nice looking but it seemed to get cold in the winter and sticky hot in the summer. In the end I went with a rougher fabric that was comfortable and stain resistant incase I fell asleep with juice or soda in my hand. It should arrive this weekend and I plan to spend the next couple days testing it out. I'll come home from work and turn on the DirectStarTV all from the comfort of my new recliner.

DST is over

Daylight saving time ended last Sunday at 2am. My husband and I were arguing about it he said time changes Sunday night but I insist it has already been changed and I showed him my proof. I turned on my cellphone and it says 9:30am then he showed me his phone at it reads 10:30 am. He said see it hasn't changed yet, I replied yours didn't mine does. I told him my phone automatically changed, while his' didn't and that because his phone is a fossil, but he still insists it hasn't changed yet, so what I did, took his phone, removed the battery then replace it back and turned back on and viola the clock changes. ahahhaha I won!
Then, we head off home and I turned the radio on and the dj had just announced the time and I then said, see I am indeed right!

On the Right Track

Guest post written by Rachel Powell

One of the things my husband and I love to do together is take walks around our local park. They just recently put in a paved track with mile markers (so you can easily tell how far you’ve gone) and we’ve been out there almost every day since! It’s getting a little colder, so I’m wondering how long it’ll last—but we’ve been able to bundle up before going out and have been fine.

Either way, I couldn’t be more grateful that the town put this in. Now Fred and I can stay active, which we’ve both been concerned about doing since we’re now retired and don’t have to get up and move around in an office all day. The best part: The park is right by the busy hub of town, so once we’re done walking around there, we can literally walk to town and finish running any errands we have! In fact, the other day, after our walk, we walked over to one of our miracle ear locations and had hearing tests done on the spot. Definitely beats a boring ride in the car!

@Wespoint, NY again

This would be our last weekend trip for the year here at Westpoint, NY. College football is almost at the end. Army's next games will be on the road, well for Notre Dame it is technically considered as home game but they have to play at the Yankee stadium on the 20th of this month then the yearly Army-Navy game in Philadelphia on December. I'll be missing our weekend trips, can't wait for the next year's season.

Anyway, for our last 2 nights stay here wasn't really good because the occupants next door is kinda cocky. I think it's her first time in this mom & pop motel (5rms only). She's complaining that I am loud, LOL I was on the phone with my cousin hahahha! I teased my husband that we should make love and moan to the highest level so that she'll be pissed to death! Not a bad idea I think! Whatever, I had been talking on the phone for the past couple of stays yet nobody was bothered she must have a strong amplifier on her ears that she was able to hear me talking! Good thing my conversation with my cousin is about to end when her bf knocked our door so It wasn't really a big deal yet annoying heheheh! As if her bf's snore is not that loud well if I rate it from my husband's, it is wayyyyy too loud believe me I was able to hear it from the 2nd room and they occupied the 5th! Well anyway bahala sya sa life nya!

The Theater Concession Stand

Written by my friend Ellen Gardner

Is it just me, or is one of the best things about going to the theater the concession stand? I don't know what it is about movie theater popcorn, but it's just about the best thing I've had in my life! I can't get enough. One large tub of movie theater popcorn and I am one happy camper. It doesn't even matter if the movie I am seeing disappoints me with a predictable plot and corny acting. As long as I have my butter popcorn, I feel as if the night is complete! After filling up on the fluffy kernels of joy, it's time for some movie theater candy. This isn't quite as tantalizing as the popcorn, but it comes close! Some nights I want gummy bears, other nights it will be chocolate covered raisins, but no matter what candy I go with, it's always a delight to eat! And let's not forget about movie theater nachos. There is something to be said for nearly stale round corn chips served with some magical imitation cheese sauce and canned jalapenos all in a nifty plastic plate. Whoever invented that delight deserves a hearty slap on the back! I'm about to set my home alarm right now and head to the theater where that hot butter lover's dream and all the other amazing concessions await me!

Exhibits

If you are a frequent reader of my blog, you know for sure how much I love to shop. I am lucky that my husband never complained but instead encourage me to shop. Well, he knows that I don't just shop for myself, I shop for him too and for my family in Philippines.

Anyhow, since I am a "professional" shopper, I can tell you which stores in the mall in our vicinity display their logo floor mats. There are some logo floor mats that are very intriguing and for me they really are eye catching. It somehow transmit positive energy to the shoppers as most shoppers check the inside of the store because of their display that are very eye catching. Besides going to the mall I also enjoy going to exhibits as I always find different products in an exhibit hall. I am the type that likes to check different exhibit booths or any trade show displays. I am always curious on what product or services they offer.

Over the years, I have observed that exhibits has improved. I have seen how the exhibits evolved. Nowadays more people use truss in their exhibits. It makes the exhibit more sophisticated.

Job hunting

It's been 2 weeks since I got my license certificate, I had submitted numerous applications to every facility I've known in my area, but for some reason I haven't receive any response yet. Today, I went to Kennedy hospital and applied walk-in, this way they'll consider me as a serious applicant. I'll just keep my fingers crossed though.

My close friend also referred me to her previous employer hopefully I'll get a positive response from them. If I will not get any call from them this week, I was advised to call them next week. J told me to take the job if they offered me the supervisory post which is the only open position right now, anyway training is provided so it wouldn't be that difficult to bear.

Wish me luck.

Medical Issues

I have so many medical issues in my life! I have been to an operating table for more than once. Surgeries are no joke here in the USA as it cost a lot. It cost a lot of money, more money than you can imagine. After a surgery, you will be given prescriptions that are countless. What I am really thankful for is the fact that we have health insurance.

I can't imagine not having a healthcare insurance because health care services here in the USA is way to expensive for ordinary people. I guess we are lucky that we have enough health coverage that covers hospital services, emergency room, intensive care, ambulance service, X-rays and tests done in the lab. With the health insurance that we have, co-payment seems to be manageable.

Health insurance is a necessity because if you don't have one you will be left to shoulder medical expenses by yourself. Medical expenses are no joke, that I am very sure! So, if you don't have a health insurance, don't waste your time. Shop around and look for inexpensive medical insurance that will give you the best coverage that will cover your needs. You can find cheap medical insurance online that will give you instant quote. Compare their rates and choose the best.
